We have reached the point where we are looking for ideas and suggestions on how to set up STORIS for visitors. We anticipate having a self-guided tour of selected areas of the vessel. We would like your inputs on what areas you feel should be included and what you think should be displayed within those areas. Your ideas will be posted to the web site and we hope they will also generate additional suggestions.
A committee will be established to review the manner in which other similar museums are set up and how your inputs best fit in with our own museum. The overall plan for STORIS will be generated from a combination of ideas and suggestions from those (like yourself) interested in seeing that a great museum and education center is established in Juneau.
Please let us have your ideas and suggestions as soon as possible. Your thoughts and comments are very useful to us and we welcome them all. Thanks for your help.
